Ynet is a civic association established to bring together people with a shared interest in building and improving the intranet network at the Mladosť student dormitory. It began with a small group of enthusiasts who, at their own expense, sought to create an intranet network. Over time, their efforts took on a legal form, leading to the idea of founding a civic association.

The founding members were: Miroslav Brúsil, who served as the first chairman, Ing. Vladimír Bottlík, Bc. Tomáš Verný, and Bc. Viliam Koza. Later, more individuals joined and became part of the implementation team. Both the members of the board and the implementation team carry out their work voluntarily, without any financial compensation, dedicating their own free time to the association.
